This year for the development of crop Tambov region allocated more than 900 million rubles. The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the allocation of subsidies granted in 2016 from the Federal budget to the regions, for reimbursement of interest on investment loans for the development of crop. According to the document of the Tambov region spends more than 927 million rubles.

We will remind that last year the region for this purpose was little more than 538 million rubles. In total this year among 79 regions of Russia are distributed in the order of 12.6 billion rubles for compensation of interest rates on investment credits for the development of crop processing and infrastructure development and logistics markets crop production. The Ministry of agriculture conducts monitoring of utilization of grants based on the achievement of performance indicators.

In the Tambov region in 2015 has raised over 3 million 560 thousand tons of grain – a record harvest. In the past year increased, and the production of sugar beet (collected 4.1 million tons), sunflower (more than 770 thousand tons), potatoes (contains about 765 thousand tons).
