As reported in the National Association of grain producers of Bulgaria, the country managed to collect a record over the last 10 years the grain harvest.
Bulgarian farmers this year prevented the prolonged spring frost and rather rainy early summer. But, nevertheless, they were able to thresh nearly 5.5 million tons of grain with an average yield of 47.5 q/ha. 20% more was collected canola oil - 492 700 tons. Barley this year has collected 2% less (717 600 tons) than last year.
At high yields of grain affected the quality.
Another reason for the indignation of the Bulgarian grain is in the grain prices in the world who, on average, 13.9 percent lower than they were a year ago.
And here one should consider the fact that the grain freaks, not only in Bulgaria but also in all countries of southern and Eastern Europe, seriously affected the formation of world market prices for grain.
