India increased its imports of sunflower and rapeseed oils
According to Oil World analysts, in July 2016, India has increased its imports of sunflower oil to 134 thousand tons against 122 million tons in July 2015, as well as rapeseed to 66 (31) thousand tons

However, the reduction in total volume of import oils to 1.12 million tonnes against 1.5 million tonnes in the same month a year earlier was due to a significant reduction in purchases of palm oil up to 570 (970) thousand tons. Import of soybean oil remained unchanged at 349 thousand tons.

Only in October-July 2015/16 imports of vegetable oils in India amounted to 12.51 million tonnes against 11.66 million tonnes in the same period a year earlier, of which the supply of palm oil made up 7.23 (7,67) million tons, soy - 3,6 (2,11) million tons, sunflower - 1,32 (1,36) million tons, rapeseed - 272 (307) thousand tons.
