In 2016/17 MG Bulgaria has harvested a record wheat crop

While the Ministry said that about 70% of the harvested grain is milling. The average moisture content of wheat amounted to 11.7% from 11.6% last year, the protein content is 11.7% (11.4 percent), gluten to 23.3% (22.8 per cent).
Wheat exports from the country in the current season is projected at 4 million tons against 3.5 million tons in 2015/16.
