The port of Taganrog for the year increased grain shipments by 15.1 per cent
Total cargo turnover of Taganrog sea transport hub for January-December 2016 year amounted to 2 million 363,6 thousand tons of cargo, which is 19.4% lower than the same indicator 2015

The volume of coal processing decreased by 8.6% to of 632.8 thousand tons, oil products – by 47.4% to 371,6 thousand tons, ferrous metals – 4.6% to 82 thousand tonnes. In contrast, transshipment of grain increased by 15,1% – up to 1 million 148.3 tons.
The volume of exports in 2016 was reduced by 24.6% – up to 1 million 652,4 thousand tons, import – by 43.2% to 33.2 thousand tons of cabotage cargoes by 0.8% to 678 thousand tons.
