Corn imports in the first half of the current season was reduced to 890,6 thousand tons (-8% compared to last season), barley – to 59.3 thousand tons (-36%).

Like last season, the first place for the supply of maize to the UK is France – RUB 253.2 kt (370,9 thousand tons in the first half of last season). Second place went to Romania – 162,2 (70,5) thousand tons, the third – USA – 98,5 (2,6) thousand tons the Volume of deliveries of corn from Ukraine, which last season was the second biggest supplier, fell to 46.7 (113,3) thousand tons the Russian Import of corn amounted to 5.3 (49,6) kt.

A traditional supplier of barley remains Ireland.
