According Hydromet RB in the first half of the winter of agrometeorological conditions of wintering of winter crops was generally satisfactory. Only in the Vitebsk and Gomel regions, where snow cover was uneven, part of oil crops, which before the winter was estimated as bad, as at the beginning of February had been significantly thinned.

Thus, while maintaining the optimum weather conditions in February, as well as in the spring period, the gross yield of rapeseed in Belarus may exceed last year's figure.
