The largest suppliers of corn were: Romania (40,1 thousand tons), Russia (35,5 thousand tons) and Ukraine (31.7 thousand tons). From France, which usually occupies the first place to export corn to the United Kingdom, were imported only 11.9 thousand tons.

Corn imports for seven months of the current selhoztehnika 2016/2017 amounted to 1,057 million tons (-9% to last season). A leading position for the supply of maize from the beginning of the season is: France (265,0 thousand tons), Romania (202,2 thousand tons), Argentina (109,5 thousand tons). Russia takes the eighth place in this list (40,7 thousand tons).
