In January, the average contract prices of export of potash fertilizers amounted to $330 per tonne, which is 27% less than in January 2016.
Belarus in January exported 27.5 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers (reduction of 34.2%). However, exports to CIS countries increased by 32.6% to 3.4 thousand tons, in the far abroad countries - decreased by 38.6% to 24.1 thousand tons. Average contract prices for nitrogen fertilizers amounted to $470 per ton (a decrease of 6.1%).
In addition, in January Belarus exported to 92.4 thousand tons of mixed fertilizer, which is 32.8% more than in January 2016. Deliveries to CIS countries amounted to 30.5 thousand tons (growth of 36.6%), foreign countries of 61.9 thousand tons (an increase of 30.9). Average contract prices for mixed fertilizers in January was $243 per ton (a decrease of 22.4%).
