On Thursday, the U.S. wheat market collapsed. Expectations of a significant reduction in the yield of winter wheat due to adverse weather yet to be justified. According to the results of a 3-day inspection tour of the Kansas experts made a forecast yield of 46.1 per bushel/ha against the average of the 5 years of 41.6 bushels/ha.

Additional reasons for pessimism of investors was the drop in other commodity markets, primarily crude oil and gold.

July quotes of the American wheat have decreased:

• soft wheat SRW in Chicago for $5,97 to 160,84 $/ton
• hard wheat HRW in Kansas city of $6.89 to 163,32 $/ton
• hard spring wheat HRS in Minneapolis by $201,17 of 5.05 to $/ton.
