Over the last few weeks Pakistan has contracted 65 million tons of soybeans by origin from countries of North and South America, and about 100 thousand tons of rapeseed, presumably black sea origin.

As specified, soybeans scheduled for delivery in August-September and October, the key exporters are the US, however, does not exclude that the delivery will be made and from Brazil.

With regard to rapeseed, they will be shipped in July-August, presumably from the black sea region. However, traders do not rule out that products may also be Australian and canadian origin.

Note that in the last few months, Pakistan has actively imports soya beans from North and South America in view of increasing import duties for soybean meal, making thus purchase directly oilseeds more attractive.
