According to the statistics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reserves of grain and leguminous crops on all farms as of may 1, 2017 was 9.15 million tons, which is 19.8% more than in the same period last year (of 7.64 million tonnes).

Wheat stocks exceed last year's 17.1% and the amount of 7.72 million tonnes. Of these, wheat and 5.87 million tons of coarse at 0.42 million tons and 1.44 million tons for seed.

Stocks of barley at the reporting date amounted to 0.83 million tons, or 32% more than last year, corn – 68 thousand tons, rice – 151 thousand tons of rye and 20 thousand tons, oats – 136 thousand tons, buckwheat – 38 thousand tonnes of millet and 23 thsd tonnes.
