The barrel fell sharply from $48,72 up to $47,00 for a stronger dollar after the decision of fed to increase the basic rate by 0,25% to 1,0-1,25 per annum.

This is the second fed rate hike in 2017. The last time the regulator raised it in March to 0.75–1% of the barrel has fallen by more hard - $4, from $56 to $52.
