As of June 22, barley is harvested from an area of 5.13 hectares of 129,77 thousand hectares (4%), which is 92,3% less than was harvested on the same date last year, according to the Ministry of agriculture of Bulgaria. Harvested 25,94 tons (91.3 percent by 2016), with an average yield of 5.05 t/ha, which is 12.2% higher than the same period last year.

Wheat harvest has started in four regions of the country: Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Montana and Pleven. At the reporting date wheat threshed with an area of 170 hectares of 1100,5 thousand hectares, which is a 98.6% less than was harvested on the same date last year. Produced 624 tonnes (98.9% to 2016), with an average yield of 3.67 t/ha, which is 17.5% below the rate on the reporting date last year.
