According to estimates of the Ministry of agriculture of Brazil, the farmers gathered 114 million tonnes in 2017 which is an absolute record.

Sales since the beginning of the year amounted to 53,37 million tonnes, which is 3.5% higher than exports for the whole of 2016. Record export shipments was recorded in 2015. and amounted to 54.3 million tons.

Thus, in the current year exports of soybeans reached a new record. According to estimates of the Brazilian industrial Association Abiove, at the end of the year exports will reach 64 million tons.
