According to market operators, state Agency on procurement of grain to Iran will hold a tender for purchasing 200 thousand tons of fodder maize and 200 thousand tons of feed barley, the closing of which is scheduled for September 11.

Under the terms of the tender, the corn can be delivered from Brazil, Ukraine or Russia barley from Russia, Kazakhstan, Australia or the EU.

All purchased grain must be shipped in three consignments during the period 15 to 30 September, from 1 - 15 Oct 16-31 October

Recall that at the previous similar tender held in July this year, Iran failed to purchase the forecasted corn and barley.
