The German company Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH is implementing its first project on foreign direct investment in the Voronezh region. About it as have informed correspondent IA REGNUM in management on interaction with mass media and administrative work of the government of the Voronezh region, said on 7 December at a meeting of Governor Alexey Gordeev with the delegation of the DMK.

As noted at the meeting, the company DMK is already cooperating with the Voronezh region, in particular, with Bobrovsky a cheese factory. In September 2016, the company acquired a controlling stake, "Richart holding", which includes a cheese factory. For the period 2013-2017 years, the enterprise was reconstructed, the production capacity increased by more than two times. Now the company produces 11.5 tonnes of semi-hard cheese per year. In 2018 in the expansion of production is planned to invest 130 million rubles. The result should be a performance increase by 2.9 thousand tons per year.

As was stated at the meeting on 7 December, the German company decided on direct investments in the Russian part of the business, including, in the enterprise in the Voronezh region.

CEO of DMK Ingo Mueller noted that the company will be the first project on direct foreign investment. One of the factors that influenced this choice was the powerful state support of the agricultural sector in Russia, including at the regional level.

DMK Deutsches Milchkontor GmbH is the largest manufacturer of dairy products in Germany. Produces drinking milk, butter, cheese, baby food. Annually processes more than 6.8 million tons of milk by 26 factories in Germany.
