In November, China imported 8.68 million tons of soybeans, which is 48% better rate a month earlier and 11 per cent in November from a year earlier, thanks to the activation of purchases of the oilseed from the United States.

In total for 11 months of current year imports of soybeans by China amounted to 85.99 million tons, 11 million tons more than the same indicator of January-November of the previous year (74,92 million tons), and the result of all of 2016.

Expected in December this year, Chinese importers plan to purchase in foreign markets about 9 million tons of soybean due to seasonal high demand for oil.
