As reported on the official website of the Department with reference to operative data of the Federal customs service (FCS), as of 17 January 2018 the export of grain (excluding millet) amounted to about 28.9 million tons.

The Ministry of agriculture noted that this figure is 36% higher than the same date last year.

The Ministry hopes that a record grain harvest (134 million tons) harvested last year, will enable Russia to replenish foreign exchange mass due to the export of these products. It is expected that by the end of this selfobsession the Russian exports 45-47 million tons of grain.
