The main buyers of Russian product in the reporting month were Egypt - more than 61 thousand tons (or 23% of total shipments) and Turkey – 46.1 thousand tons (18%). On the third place in the rating of importers at the end of December were followed by China (12%), developing purchases of Russian sunflower oil 4.1 times in comparison with level of the November – to 32.3 thousand tons. Rounded out the top five in the Uzbekistan of 20.4 thousand tons (8%) and Lebanon of 15 thousand tons (6%). In total, above countries in December were shipped almost 175 thousand tons of Russian sunflower oil, or 67% of total exports.

In just the first 4 months of 2017/18 MG Russia exported 851 thousand tons of sunflower oil. Thus, given the expectations of analysts of IA "APK-inform" increased shipments at the end of the season (2 million tons), in the remaining 8 months on the foreign markets can be supplied by another 1.15 million tons of Russian sunflower oil.
