Four months 2017/18 season purchases of palm oil fell by almost 40% and amounted to 224,7 thousand tons versus altitude of 373.3 thousand tons a year earlier. Of the current marketing year continues to show a downward trend in purchases of palm oil by Russia to its lowest level in the last eight seasons.

This season there is a decrease in procurement as the main suppliers of palm oil, and less important players in the market, while a major exporter remains Indonesia, which still accounts for 83% of the total imports.
