In particular, the forecast was lowered for the United States to 54 million tons, against 59.7 million tons in the February projections, as well as to 58,2 million tons in 2016/17 MG. At the same time, this figure was increased for Brazil, up to 11,4 (10,6; 14) million tons and the EU – up to 7 (6,8; 7,5) million tons.

The forecast of world maize production for the season remained unchanged – 1,041 billion tons. The analysts lowered the rating for Argentina to 36 (39; 41) million tons and Brazil – up to 94.5 (95; with 98.5) million tons and increased for the EU – up to 61,1 (60; 61,4) million tons, India – to 27.1 (25; 25,9 mln tonnes), and South Africa – 13 (12,5; 17,5) million tons.

Evaluation of world exports of corn in 2017/18 MG also remained unchanged – at the level of 151.6 (151,5; 141.7 per) million tons. The rate was lowered for Argentina – 25 (26,5; 22,9 mln tonnes), and Brazil – to 31 (34; 19.8 per) million tonnes, but raised for the United States to 56 (51,5; 55,5) million tons.
