From 1 July ends with the action of the zero export duty on wheat. As reported the head of the Ministry Alexander Tkachev, after this period the duty may be either extended or cancelled.
"There are such and such suggestions yet. But it (fee - if) will definitely not increase", - said Dvorkovich.
The Russian Federation nullified the export duty on wheat from September 23, 2016 to July 1, 2018. Duty was introduced from 1 July 2015 to stabilize the situation on the grain market. Its size was changed several times. From 1 October 2015 the fee was 50% of the customs value minus 6.5 thousand rubles, but not less than 10 rubles per ton.
According to the forecast of the Ministry of agriculture, this agricultural year (July 2017-June 2018) Russia may export 52-53 million tons of grain. To date, the exports amounted to nearly 38 million tons, which is 40% higher compared to the previous agricultural year.
