As specified, this figure exceeds earlier expectations. Recall that Reuters had forecast soybean processing in the United States at the level of 168,25 thousand tonnes also exceeded the record high volume processing of oil in December 2017 (166,3 thousand tons).

It should be noted that ending stocks of soybean oil in the country in March of this year, according to analysts, increased by 90 million pounds to 1.96 billion pounds, also above expectations of experts (1.95 billion pounds), as a consequence, carryover stocks of oil in the country rose to its highest level since June of 2016.

The export of soybeans from the U.S. in March also increased and reached 879 thousand tons in comparison with 755,1 thousand tons in February this year, however, lower than in March 2017 (1.05 billion tons).
