Beginning stocks of the 2018/19 season will be 13,822 million tons, which is 27,6% more than at the beginning of the current season. Wheat production in 2018. will fall 13 percent to 74 million tons. Thus, the total supply of wheat in the new season will be 88,322 million tons, which is 8.3% less than in the current season.

Russia in the new season will be able to export 36 million tonnes of wheat, which is 4% less than expected at the end of this season.

Domestic consumption of wheat will decrease by 2.3% to 44 million tonnes, with a reduction equal share of the food and fodder consumption.

Experts FAS USDA predicts that ending stocks of wheat in Russia in the 2018/19 season will be reduced to 8,322 million tons that is by 39.8% less than expected at the end of the current season.
