In the United States cut its forecast for the wheat crop of Russia.
The USDA cut its forecast for the wheat harvest in Russia and the export of this crop from the country in 2018-2019 agricultural year (from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019), it follows from the June review of the Ministry.

According to the forecast of the Ministry, the wheat harvest in Russia next season will be of 68.5 million tons, down from the may estimate was 72 million tons. Wheat exports from Russia may reach 35 million tons (the forecast in may is 36.5 million tons), the assessment was reduced as a result of changes forecast for the crop. The forecast for the supply of grain abroad in the current season was raised to 40.5 million tonnes from 39.5 million in the may review.

 

In turn, the United States in 2018-2019 agricultural year can, according to the Ministry, export 26 million tons of grain (forecast improved from 25 million tonnes), the EU — 29 million tons (estimate was not changed). Global wheat production next season may be 744,686 million tons (the may estimate — 747,756 million).

 

According to Rosstat, the wheat harvest in Russia in 2017 amounted to 85.9 million tons of grain in the whole — 135,4 million tons. The export of grain from Russia last season, has $ 35,474 million tons, including 27,075 million tons of wheat.

The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation expects that in the current agricultural year grain exports from Russia will amount to about 53 million tons of wheat supply — 40 million tons. At the end of the current season Russia, according to the forecast of the International grains Council will take the first place in the world in wheat exports and second in the supply of grain in General.
