"The forecast we have adjusted literally on a weekly basis. I think about 100 million tonnes of this forecast we can say today. But this topic should get back fairly regularly to be able to have more exact figures to call," — said Patrushev.

Commenting on the volume of grain exports from Russia, the Minister pointed out that the domestic demand in grain is 80 million tons. "Depending on how much we collect, and depending on how many we will have on their consumption — will decide how much will be for export," he added.

Initially, the Ministry's forecast grain harvest in Russia amounted to 110-115 million tons in may, he was reduced to 105-110 million tons, and in June — to $ 100 million. The agriculture Ministry also expects that grain exports from Russia in 2017-2018 crop year (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018) will be about 53 million tons in the agricultural year 2018-2019 — 35-40 million tons.
