Crimea intends to suspend deliveries of grain abroad, said the Minister of agriculture Andrey Ryumshin.

"In the ports of the Crimea exported grain outside in various countries. Today we are preparing a letter asking to suspend the export of grain," said Rumson reporters.

The letter, as explained by RIA Novosti in the Ministry of agriculture of Kazakhstan is the head of the Crimea Aksenov grey ball, which then will turn to the initiative to the government.

 

According to the Minister, the existing grain it is advisable to redirect to the needs of the Republic. "We have today is the growth of livestock. We are guaranteed need to give (grain. – Approx. ed.) to the population that it is engaged in farming in their home gardens. We want guaranteed food grains was in the Crimea until the next harvest," said Rumson.

 

According to him, this year because of the drought that led to the imposition of emergency in six districts, Crimea gleaning of the harvest. Today collected 890 thousand tons of early grain.

"The total area affected by drought land — 23 thousand hectares," — said the Minister, noting that the damage is estimated at 237 million rubles.
