Grain exports from Russia in July, which is the first month of the agricultural year 2018-2019, increased by 79%, to 4.73 million t. About it it is spoken in the message of the Ministry of agriculture.

"This 2018-2019 crop year on August 1 (excluding exports to EEU countries) exported in excess of 4.73 million tonnes of grain, which is 79% higher than the same period last season (2.65 million tons)," - noted in the Ministry.

Wheat exports from the beginning of selhoztehnika amounted to almost 3.8 million tonnes, which is 2.4 times higher than the same period of last agricultural year. The export of barley has reached 641 thousand tons (an increase of 5%). Exported 257 thousand MT of corn (an increase of 36%). Other crops exported to 34.1 thousand tons, which is 1.4 times more than in the same period last season.

As previously reported, the Ministry of agriculture forecast grain export in the current agricultural year (started July 1) is 44-45 million tons of grain Exports from Russia in 2017-2018 marketing year was 52.4 million, which is 49% higher than in the season previous year.
