In the Volgograd region has collected 3 million tons of grain. This was at a meeting in the regional government said the Governor Andrei Bocharov, announced on August 13 a press-service of the government. According to the head of the region, due to the difficult weather conditions the harvesting campaign is at the adjusted plan.

"A serious milestone of three million tonnes of grain passed. Prior to the implementation of the plan set by the government remained 400 thousand tons of grain", — said Andrey Bocharov.

Now in the Volgograd region continues to work with operational staff and the cleaning fee is adjusted depending on the weather plan. All farmers provided with the necessary equipment and combustive-lubricating materials.

Earlier, the Governor Andrei Bocharov said that the rising cost of fuel and lubricants may have a negative impact on the harvest, and at spring field works. In July it became known that the region has received more than 186 million rubles as compensation because of rising fuel prices.
