Just last year was imported 1.06 million tons of palm oil and its fractions. The import of coconut, palm kernel or babassu oil and their fractions in Russia in 2018 rose by 2% to 74,4 thousand tons. Imports of sunflower, safflower, cottonseed oils and their fractions for the 12 months increased by 0.3% to 25.7 thousand tons.

But will focus more on palm oil, what is the reason for such growth? Someone is trying to explain a major contract to supply Indonesia 11 su-35, prisoners "Rostec" in the beginning of 2018. It would be paid partly in palm oil. However, the structure of the Russian import in the first half of the year has not changed — about the same increased imports of palm oil from Indonesia and from other countries.
