The largest volume of sunflower farmers gathered Novopokrovskiy, Kanev and Kuschevskiy district.

- Last year, due to adverse weather conditions in many agricultural crops, the harvest was below average performance. This year the situation has leveled off. According to the results of the cleaning one of the main oil crops – sunflower - we are seeing good results, - noted in the management of crop production.

Recall oilseeds, in particular sunflower, soybean and canola is export oriented crops in the region, as are the raw materials for fat and oil products. In the framework of the national project "international cooperation and exports," by 2024, Krasnodar Krai is going to increase the volume of production from 1.3 million tons to 2,370 million tons.
