Nigeria to reduce 20 pct wheat import
The African state intends to reduce wheat import, having concentrated on cassava use in baking production.

The government of Nigeria creates a program on reduction of wheat import by 20%, told Nigerian
Agriculture Minister Akinwumi Adesina.
The developed program assumes that wheat flour will be replaced with cassava flour in
production of bread, that will help Nigeria to save more than $796 million a
year, and also will promote agriculture development in the country and increase
in employment of the population.
