Syngenta AG plans to file counterclaims against more than 750 American farmers and grain exporters, which sued the manufacturer of the seed regarding sales of seeds of genetically modified corn, which caused harm to the trade with China last year.

Syngenta, the world's largest company producing chemicals for crops, assesses the potential counterclaims in response to litigation because corn Agrisure Viptera, also known as MIR 162.
