Under the auspices of the Association of European businesses" and "Russian Union of manufacturers of plant protection products in Russia is implementing a pilot project for the collection and recycling of packaging from plant protection products. For two years achieved quite good results.

If in the first year were collected about 100 tons of empty cans, 2014 in five regions of the Central Chernozem region utilized the 400 tons of used cans. The project involved such large agricultural holdings as EkoNiva" and "Prodimex".

The assembled container, which could pollute the environment, will produce quite a considerable use. At the plant in the Voronezh region because it produces pipes, plastic tile. It is important that agricultural enterprises are saved from the headache of how to dispose of unnecessary packaging. Their task is only to wash the canister in the preparation of working solution for treatment of plants.

The project received the support of the regional governments and large agricultural holdings and intends to leave the territory of the Central black earth region. As reported by the project Manager Thomas Neck, plans to engage in this activity all the farms that use pesticides, up to the Siberian region. By the way, in Germany, a similar project has been operating for over 15 years.
