As follows from the letter of industry associations, according to Kommersant, the classification of the food industry for the category I will oblige companies to implement a number of additional requirements: obtaining the integrated environmental permit, the application of best available technologies (VAT), the implementation of technological standards, development and application of eco-efficiency program. All this, say the authors of the letter, will result in significant costs (their evaluation in a letter not shown) on the ecological modernization of equipment and production technology.
