Russia will not use genetically modified organisms to increase productivity in agriculture, said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, speaking at a session at the St. Petersburg international economic forum.

"Russia has chosen a different path. We won't use these technologies, "he said.

As a result of Russian products will be "one of the cleanest in the world" from the point of view of technology use, he said.

"Of course, we must and will use the latest technology in agriculture", - said Dvorkovich.
