Tambov region is additionally received from the Federal budget of 55 million roubles on development of family livestock farms, told RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the regional administration.

"This year, according to the results of competitive selection in the framework of the state program of agriculture development and regulation of market of agricultural products, raw materials and food in Tambov region for 2013-2020, already grants were provided 21 the farmer more than $ 42 million rubles. Additional funds are distributed between 23 farms. The decision on additional financing was made as a result of the increasing number of farmers in the region", — said the Agency interlocutor.

According to him, in support of beginning farmers from topcrest will be allocated to one and a half million rubles for projects on development of family livestock farms — up to nine million rubles. These funds will enable farmers to upgrade equipment, purchase equipment, livestock, to create the necessary infrastructure and acquiring land for farming. The participants of the subprogramme is to support small businesses working in areas such as dairy farming, rabbit breeding, sheep breeding, poultry farming, vegetable growing.

"The farmers' movement in the Tambov region is developing rapidly. There is an increased interest of young professionals to the industry. In turn, the regional authorities provide overall support to farmers, in whose plans include increasing livestock numbers, production volumes, creation of new jobs", — said the head of the regional Department of agriculture Alexander Aksenov.
