In the Rostov regional veterinary laboratory asked the residents Neklinovskiy, Veselovsky and Zernogradskiy areas with the same problem: in the farms there was a sudden, massive death of bees. This case was far from unique for the region in 2014 in the Rostov region revealed 3 cases of mass death of bees in Tarasovskiy and Kucharska areas.

Unlike the USA, where it causes the death of insects passing into a mass extinction, so far only investigated, Rostov specialists have already found the factor responsible for the incident. Specialists of the Rostov regional station for combating animal diseases conducted studies honeycomb with honey and dead bees and found that the insects were poisoned by agrochemicals.

"While laboratory studies revealed insecticides dimetaot, lambda-cyhalothrin and diazinon, which are toxic to bees and fish and some aquatic invertebrates. On Friday we received the results of studies of bees from Zernogradskiy district. There fell about 20 bee colonies. The results were also positive," commented head of chemical-Toxicological and biochemical departments of the Rostov regional veterinary laboratory Natalia Severina.

Most likely, the bees were in the area of processing of agricultural crops from insects, and pesticides are functioning as they were supposed to. However, to avoid the deaths of bees, farms had to follow "Instructions on measures to prevent and eliminate diseases, poisoning and major pests of bees", reports the press center of the Rostov regional station. In particular, the need for 4-5 days to notify beekeepers, including through the media, about the upcoming treatment. If the information to the population was not possible, victims now have the right to seek assistance to law enforcement agencies.
