The price of walnuts in Ukraine increases, this was stated by Vladimir Makhno, President of the Ukrainian nut Association. This is due to the fact that not only in Ukraine but all over the world, last fall was freezing, which negatively influenced the crop this year.

"It is expected that the harvest this year will be lower than in the past. We think that this figure will increase by 40%. Every year was going in Ukraine, more than 120 thousand tons of nuts. But weather conditions had a negative displayed at the training camp this year. Moreover, this trend is observed worldwide. In California and Iran, too, was cold autumn. Nuts will rise in price around the world," — said the expert.

Ukraine is among the largest exporters of walnuts. Very popular local production is in the Gulf countries. A significant amount of walnut was imported to Europe, China, and Turkey.
