The Minister thanked the Bulgarian delegation for visiting the main Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden autumn" and the organization of national stand.
"Such events contribute to the establishment of mutually beneficial contacts and developing cooperation and replication of a national brand product outside the country of origin" — said the Russian Minister.
During the meeting it was noted that in July this year in Burgas was held the first meeting of the Working group of the two countries on agriculture, which was agreed to intensify cooperation in various sectors of agribusiness.
The Russian side handed over to the colleagues from Bulgaria for the consideration of a number of investment projects it can be implemented with the participation of the Bulgarian business community on the territory of our country.
"We are waiting for proposals on the possible implementation of projects, among them one of the most promising can be called a project in the field of viticulture and winemaking", — said Alexander Tkachev.
However, he added that the Russian side also is ready to consider responses from Bulgaria.
The Minister of agriculture of Russia also said that Russia has good potential for increased supplies, primarily wheat, flour, pasta and confectionery products, and sunflower oil.
Following the meeting, the Minister of agriculture of Russia invited Desislava Taneva to participate in the Second world grain forum which will be held on November 18-19, 2016 in Sochi.
