Investment in a fleet of modern farm equipment helped the company to stay within optimal agrotechnical terms and accurately process more than 95 thousand hectares of fertile land in the Voronezh, Lipetsk, Moscow, Orel and Tambov regions. In the course of the harvesting campaign on the fields of the Group were involved in 79 private harvesters and tractors 100.

The main in the structure of the new harvest were the following crops: corn – 231 thousand tons, winter wheat and spring wheat – 181 thousand tons, soybeans – 26 thousand tons, peas – 26 thousand tons. Corn made in the end, the most significant contribution to the overall gross. A year ago, the economy of the holding company have collected 115 thousand tons of this culture. The final corn crop will not only satisfy domestic needs, but also to sell part of the grain.

"In 2016 we have a high harvest, but we see prospects for further growth in corn and soybeans, says the Director of the Department of crop production of the Group Dmitry Garnov. — Maize gives the highest yield per hectare and greater gross profit, and that's why next year we are increasing the area under this culture."

Cherkizovo group will continue to invest in their crop and to increase the capacity of the segment, redistributing the area under cereals in favor of more productive crops. So, the next year it is planned to give under maize – 31.2 thousand ha (2015 – 16 thousand ha, in 2016 – 24.1 thousand ha) for winter wheat – 25.6 thousand ha, spring wheat – 8 thousand hectares under soybean double crop area up to 21 thousand hectares.

The company plans to achieve a high level of self-sufficiency grain (30%) and intends to increase its Elevator storage capacities to 1 million tonnes of simultaneous grain storage.
