Every day from January 23 to farmers for a few hours tractors to block the highway. Eve was blocked entrances to the airport in Thessaloniki, on Saturday, the tractor drove into the centre of Thessaloniki and staged a protest outside the White tower.

The day had blocked the highway Patras-Corinth-road Antirio-Ioannina, installed a checkpoint on the border with Albania. Farmers complain that because of taxes, sharply increased the cost of production. In addition, extensive damage to agriculture caused by bad weather – cold weather has killed part of the crop. Farmers say they will stand to the end and warn the government about the strengthening of the protests.
