During the meeting the sides exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.

Welcoming John Bruce act, Mikhail Timofeev stressed the importance of such meetings for development of Economics and business of the two countries. He told the foreign guest about the success of the Krasnodar territory in agriculture, including the development of animal husbandry and fisheries industry, food processing industry, export and investment potential of the region.

The Deputy Minister noted that today the priority directions of cooperation of Krasnodar region c great Britain – the development of raw materials base for the subsequent loading of processing enterprises of the region, as well as the introduction and use of innovative technologies in crop and livestock production to obtain competitive raw material resources.

John Lindfield with great interest reacted to the opportunities of bilateral cooperation. He stressed that in March, plans to hold a business mission to the UK in the Krasnodar region. According to foreign guests, representatives of British companies will visit a number of agricultural. companies in the region, and will also hold a seminar with the Kuban manufacturers, which will exchange experience and discuss prospects of further cooperation.
