The reduction in the total level of exports was affected by the decline in exports of petroleum products (67,4%), fertilizers (84%) and furniture (34%) and Lithuanian dairy and meat products were imported to Russia, according to the Department of statistics.
Last year was exported to Russia the Lithuanian food and agricultural products to 61.6 million euros, which is 1.7% less than in 2015, when exports amounted to 62.7 million euros.
Total exports to Russia (including re-exports) last year decreased by 2.9%, but exports only food and agricultural products – by 13.9%.
In Russia in 2016 accounted for 13.5% of total exports of Lithuania (including re-exports), however, only 8.9% of exports made up of goods of Lithuanian origin.
