Russia has restricted the import of poultry from Italy, Greece and Poland
The Rosselkhoznadzor on February 14 imposes temporary restrictions on import of live poultry and hatching eggs from various regions of Italy, Greece and Poland, reported on the Agency's website

"In connection with the registration of foci of highly pathogenic avian influenza on the territory of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy on February 14 imposes temporary restrictions on import into the Russian Federation from the specified region of live poultry and hatching eggs", – stated in the message Rosselkhoznadzor. The Agency added that previously, such a limit was introduced to the Veneto region.

The Rosselkhoznadzor also reported that the restrictions for the same reason entered in respect of similar products of the districts of Peloponnese and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Greece.

In addition, in the list of regions with the registration of highly pathogenic avian influenza, of which Russia temporarily restricts the import got Mazowieckie, Wielkopolskie and Warminsko-Mazurskie province of Poland. Previously, these restrictions were imposed on the Lubuski, Podkarpackie, małopolskie, opolskie, świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
