In 2014, Coca-Cola HBC Russia started the modernization of treatment facilities in the factories and in the moment have already invested in the project EUR 7 million.

Before entering the sewage system or reservoir the water passes several stages of purification and then tested on 15 indicators. Measuring equipment helps to control quality and dynamic parameters of the flow of water at each treatment stage. Thus, the production waste water meets all regulatory requirements.

In addition, the factories of Coca-Cola HBC Russia systematically reduce water consumption through improved technology, innovative projects and programs to eliminate leaks. Increasing the share of re-used water for sanitation facilities helps to reduce overall water withdrawal and wastewater discharges.
