As reported PERMSTAT, the volume of produced slaughter of livestock and poultry (in live weight) in agricultural organizations of the region in January-March 2017, compared with the same period last year fell by 3.9% and amounted to 20.6 thousand tons.

20.3% of the realized cattle had cattle (plus a 1.3% rate last year), 19,6% – for pigs (less than last year by 4.5%), up 59.8% on the bird (an increase from the same months of 2016, 3%), 0,3% – for other species of livestock (+0.2 percent).

The gross milk yield in agricultural organizations of the region from the beginning of 2017 was equal to 94,2 thousand tons (an increase of 0.6% compared to January-March 2016). The number of eggs totaled 284,0 million units (an increase of 1.4%).
