Largest in Asia, the 18th international food exhibition SIAL China 2017 has once again opened on Wednesday its doors for visitors, and for professionals of the food industry.

Every year this major event attracts representatives of the market of wholesale and retail trade, manufacturers of food and beverages, hotel business, consumer services and many other players, associated with the grocery business.

Russia is traditionally the active participant of SIAL China. This year a delegation was sent to the Ministry of agriculture headed by the Deputy agriculture Minister, Yevgeny Nepoklonov, and the Ministry of industry and trade of Russia, the delegation which was headed by Deputy Minister Viktor Evtukhov.

Russian regions are also well represented in the exhibition: Stavropol Krai, Penza, Rostov, Kirov, Orenburg, Tomsk, Ulyanovsk and Irkutsk oblasts, and Primorsky Krai and the Republic of Tatarstan.
