The Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev, speaking at a meeting of the Russian Government, commented on the changes to the Federal law "About financial lease (leasing)". According to the project, subject to the lease proposed to include not only pedigree animals, but also cattle of specialized meat breeds, bred in Russia.

"Proposed by the Ministry of agriculture, the changes will give additional impetus to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas, agricultural cooperatives and integration platforms for the rearing of young cattle meat breeds and will expand the supplier base of such cattle", — said Alexander Tkachev.
